Fish Creek, Wis. (December 5, 2024) – On Saturday, December 14, at 7 p.m., Door Community Auditorium (DCA) will present Colin Welford and a bevy of his talented friends in a holiday spectacular they’re calling “Songs that Sleigh.”
Colin Welford has worked with Leonard Bernstein, met Queen Elizabeth II, accompanied Luciano Pavarotti, recorded an album with Sir Paul McCartney, led the music department of Disney’s The Lion King, conducted Hamilton, and played at the White House—and he now lives year-round in Door County. He is the executive director of “Colin & Friends Concerts,” whose mission is to enrich the Door County community with great music in a fun and personal way.
“Songs that Sleigh” will feature Welford and many of his friends a holiday show of classics, Broadway, and sheer silliness. His array of friends and stagemates on the 14th will include Dan Klarer (MC), Scott Ramsay (tenor), Maura Grace (soprano), Courtney Sherman (soprano), Asha Sundaram (flute), David Bell (clarinet), Adam Gaines (trumpet), Salvador Stein (violin), Char Bogda (violin), John Lewis (guitar), Dennis Johnson (bass), Paul Ristau (percussion), and Jeff Handley (percussion).

The show begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 14. Tickets cost $35. Advance tickets are recommended and can be made through the DCA box office, located at 3926 Highway 42 in Fish Creek.
