Fish Creek, Wis. (June 17, 2022) – On Thursday, June 23, at 6 p.m., kid-friendly Americana duo Okee Dokee Brothers will perform at Door Community Auditorium (DCA). Ticket holders may also elect to purchase tickets for a pre-show, family-style pizza party.
With songs written under wide-open skies and harmonies fine-tuned around the campfire, a spirit of friendship and adventure is at the heart of the Okee Dokee Brothers’ Americana folk music. The Okee Dokee Brothers make room for kids to dance, for parents to share stories, and for everyone to gain respect for nature, each other, and the world we live in.
NPR says, “[The Okee Dokee Brothers] remind us of the American belief that we’re bound for better weather. [They] celebrate everyday explorers, young and old, who rediscover that notion daily.”
Both exuberant and introspective, the Okee Dokee Brothers’ Grammy-winning songs have won them five Parents’ Choice Awards, one Grammy Award and multiple nominations, and praise from the likes of NPR’s “All Things Considered” and USA Today, leading some to call them “two of family music’s best songwriters.”
Okee Dokee Brothers’ performance is made possible with support from presenting sponsor The Dorr and major sponsor Door County Pulse.
The show begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 23. Tickets range from $15 to $29. Visit the DCA website for more information about current Covid protocols. Advance tickets are recommended and can be made through the DCA box office, located at 3926 Highway 42 in Fish Creek.
