Fish Creek, Wis. (June 11, 2025) – On Monday, June 16, at 6 p.m., Door Community Auditorium (DCA) will present quirky, family-friendly dance band Koo Koo in concert on the DCA Main Stage.
Fun for both adults and kids, Koo Koo brings plenty of groove along with the catchy, offbeat energy their devoted fans expect. With shows that center around crowd participation, comedy, and dance music, Koo Koo stretches the concept of a what a “band” can be.
Salad Days magazine wrote that Koo Koo is “all about dancing, yelling, and bringing the party . . . the Beastie Boys multiplied by Sesame Street plus the driving dance beats of Daft Punk and the live show antics of the Flaming Lips.” Media Mikes wrote that Koo Koo presented “laughable, dance-inducing songs that had the entire venue smiling and gyrating.”
Koo Koo’s performance is taking place thanks to major sponsor Dale and Margaret West, as well as the sponsors of the Passport Program: major sponsors Peninsula Pulse and Dörr Hotel; supporting sponsors Cramer Family Fund and WPR; and partners the Alexander Family, Alexander’s Restaurant, Cordon Family Foundation, CUT, Ellison Bay Inn & Lounge, Grasse’s Grill, kindgoods, Red Putter, Sister Bay Suds, Tom and Barbara Thurman, The White Gull Inn, and Wood Rabbit Acupuncture.
The show begins at 6 p.m. on June 16. Tickets cost $15 plus sales tax and a facility fee of $2 per ticket and $6/order. Advance tickets are recommended and can be made through the DCA box office, located at 3926 Highway 42 in Fish Creek.
