Fish Creek, Wis. (February 27, 2024) – DCA will present the final installment of annual Coffeehouse Concert series with a performance in its cozy fireside lobby by Grammy-nominated composer/instrumentalist Hans Christian. The concert, which is sold out, will take place Saturday, March 2, at 7 p.m. Coffee and bakery will be available for purchase.
Throughout his life as a composer, performer, and producer, German-born Hans Christian has been inspired to create music that induces introspection, soul meditation, and melancholic passion. He has developed a unique voice for the cello in a variety of compositions that include neo-classical, ethnic, and ambient/electronic elements. While deepening his own musical journey since his first release of original music in 1988, Christian has also served as recording engineer and producer. Hans was nominated for a Grammy® earlier this year in the New Age/Ambient/Chant category with his most recent release Ocean Dreaming Ocean.
