Fish Creek, Wis. (January 13, 2021) – Door Community Auditorium is pleased to announce that the 8th Annual Play It Forward Concert and Virtual Variety Show successfully premiered via on-line video on December 23, 2020. The event served as a fundraiser for local Door County artists who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
DCA raised a record-breaking total of $6,035, thanks to generous DCA friends and family. This year’s proceeds will be equally divided amongst the featured acts: Ben Larsen, Big Mouth Trio, Cathy Grier, Genevieve Heyward, Jeanne Kuhns, Julian Hagen, Katie Dahl, pat mAcdonald, Solomon Lindenberg and Zephyr Cieser, Spike and April, Dirty Deuce, Todd Carey, Jahmés Tony Finlayson, and Wade Fernandez. The show’s producers, Thor Thoreson, Pete Thelen, and poet Ralph Murre, generously donated their shares back to the group.
