A lively mix of iconic stage legends, groundbreaking up-and-comers, and beloved Door County favorites will make for an exciting 2019 season at Door Community Auditorium.
The year’s lineup includes performers who have endeared themselves to local audiences, including Lyle Lovett and his Large Band (7/19), ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro (7/26), roots-folk ensemble Rising Appalachia (7/30), R&B trailblazer Mavis Staples (8/29), Big Mouth and The Power Tool Horns (10/5), songwriter Katie Dahl, and the Capitol Sun Rays, a new Americana band featuring Birds of Chicago (11/30).
Other events include thunder-voiced songwriter Greg Brown (6/21), The Glenn Miller Orchestra (6/29), a tribute to Queen album “A Night at the Opera” (7/3), songwriters Alejandro Escovedo and pat mAcdonald (7/8), roots supergroup I’m With Her with a set by Yola (7/12), soul singer Amos Lee with a set by Yutlu (7/13), country-folk’s Rosanne Cash (7/16), legendary The Righteous Brothers (7/22), Fleetwood Mac tribute band Tusk (8/1), and quirky swing band Squirrel Nut Zippers (8/11).
