Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (April 15, 2021) – To allow Museum staff to complete some larger building maintenance projects, the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay will be closed to the public on Monday, April 26, 2021. The Museum will resume regular hours at 10am on Tuesday, April 27. Winter hours for the Museum are 10am-4pm, seven days a week, January through April. The Jim Kress Maritime Lighthouse Tower will open to the public in May 2021.
The Door County Maritime Museum & Lighthouse Preservation Society, Inc. preserves Great Lakes maritime history, primarily focusing on Door County, Wisconsin, and provides interpretive and educational opportunities for current and future generations.
