Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (October 27, 2020) – Keep holiday traditions alive and bring your family and friends to the 9th annual Merry-Time Festival of Trees from November 14 to January 3, at the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay.

The Festival turns the Museum into a winter wonderland with uniquely decorated trees, wreaths and decorative displays donated to DCMM by businesses and individuals in the community.

Visitors and supporters of the museum during the Festival can purchase raffle tickets for chances to win a display and take it home! One ticket is included with every adult Museum admission. Additional raffle tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25.

Lights ON with Santa!

Santa lights up the night at DCMM on Saturday, November 14 with the FIRST lighting of the Beacon Room at the top of the new Jim Kress Maritime Lighthouse Tower, and the holiday lighting on the histroic tug John Purves.

Children are encouraged to bring copies of their Letters to Santa.
Socially distanced photo opportunities with Santa wll be available 3-4pm. Santa will countdown to the lighting of the tug and Beacon at 4:30pm.

All children accompanied by an adult receive free admission to the Museum from November 27–30.

Help create a Winter Wonderland

Please help DCMM make this winter wonderland a reality, and keep the tradition alive for our Door County community by onating an artificial tree, wreath or decorative display to the Museum by November 12.

Decorate to display your business offerings, organization or favorite cause – choose a theme and adornments that express the uniqueness of that theme. Sponsors of the Merry-Time Festival of Trees benefit from over 6 weeks of advertising exposure including Festival promotional materials and on DCMM social media channels. Sponsor’s logo and/or name will be prominently displayed with each tree.

This is a fun and different way to promote and share your holiday spirit. To donate, email Paige Funkhouser: pfunkhouser@dcmm.org; or call the Museum: 920-743-5958.
