Fish Creek, Wis. (December 16, 2024) – Door Community Auditorium (DCA) is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors, expanding its leadership team to 13 members.
Mike Harris, a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record of starting, building, and successfully exiting multiple businesses, brings a wealth of experience to DCA. Originally from Racine, Mike has been a part-time resident of Door County for 28 years, splitting his time between Fish Creek and Milwaukee with his wife, Peggy. In addition to advising organizations and investing in music industry ventures, Mike is currently leading his latest startup, Appion Solutions, a company specializing in software for managing apprentice programs. Outside of business, Mike is passionate about writing and recording music, as well as hiking, biking, and kayaking in Door County’s scenic outdoors.
Paul Heim, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in Business (Finance) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Law), brings a distinguished career in corporate law to DCA. With 35 years at ExxonMobil, Paul held various senior roles within the company’s Law Department before retiring. He and his wife, Julie, divide their time between Houston, Texas, and Ephraim. In his free time, Paul enjoys golfing, gardening, and attending performances at the Door Community Auditorium.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Mike and Paul to our Board of Directors,” said DCA Executive Director Cari Lewis. “Their diverse backgrounds in entrepreneurship, business, and law, combined with their strong personal ties to Door County, will be invaluable as we continue to serve our community and expand DCA’s reach.”
With the addition of Harris and Heim, the Board of Directors at Door Community Auditorium is well-positioned to guide the organization’s mission of providing high-quality cultural programming for residents and visitors alike.
