Door County, Wis. (July 24, 2023) – The Community Foundation is pleased to honor Donald & Carol Kress for their remarkable leadership and commitment to Door County. Each year, the Community Foundation honors Door County’s great philanthropists at the Celebration of Giving.
Philanthropists give their time to the charities they care about. They share their wisdom as members of boards of directors. Philanthropists champion the causes that resonate in their hearts and cannot help but openly share their passion with those around them. Their enthusiasm for community service is contagious. Perhaps most important, a philanthropist is one who believes that the best way to lead is by serving others. These are the qualities the Community Foundation seeks in the people it honors.
This event will be on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 2-4pm at the Gordon Lodge Event Center, 1420 Pine Rd in Baileys Harbor. Please note that the presentation will be held at a new location this year.
