Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (May 16, 2021) – The 81st annual Shareholders Meeting of the Door County Cooperative will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 beginning at 5:00 pm. Our annual meeting will be broadcast online and you can watch the proceedings live on the Cooperatives’ Facebook page.
On May 15th, the Cooperative began the mailing of over 3,750 patronage dividend checks to members that supported in Co-op in 2020. The distribution of over $585,000.00 is equivalent to a 3.5% refund on qualifying member purchases.
In just the past 15 years, supporters of the Door County Cooperative have received over $3.7 million in cash dividends, while accruing over $4.75 million of stock ownership.
Members receiving dividend checks will also be supplied with a copy of the minutes of the 80th annual meeting, voting ballots and a self-addressed stamped envelope to allow them to participate in the governance of their Cooperative.
Members are encouraged to complete their ballots and return them to the Co-op by June 8th. All voting ballots received will also be entered into a drawing for door prizes, which will include a grand prize of a $500 Door County Cooperative gift card.
