Door County, Wis. (January 26, 2026) – The Door County Historical Society is celebrating a big milestone this year: 100 years of preserving, sharing, and celebrating Door County’s stories. And no centennial birthday is complete without lots of good wishes from the people who make this work meaningful—you.
We’re inviting our members, friends, neighbors, and fans to help us mark this moment by sending a short birthday video. Think of it as a community-wide birthday card, but way more fun.
Your video can be anything you like:
A favorite memory connected to DCHS
A quick note about why local history matters to you
A wave, a toast, a song, or a cheerful shout-out
Filmed at home, with friends, or at a historic spot you love
Go solo or gather a group—there’s no wrong way to say “Happy 100th!” Just keep it short and sweet (15–20 seconds) and full of personality.
