Baileys Harbor, Wis. (March 9, 2022) – Door County Kraut Company is a member of the Wisconsin Baker’s Association. The Wisconsin Bakers Foundation is the charitable arm (501 (c) (3) of our Association.
Given the gravity of the situation in Ukraine the WBF’s Pi’s for Peace fundraiser has asked members state-wide to join in the effort to raise funds to be sent via the Foundation to the Ukraine Red Cross to assist in humanitarian aid.
Door County Kraut is participating in the fundraising drive at the March 12, 2022 Farmer’s Market in Baileys Harbor at the Town Hall. The market is hosted by the BH Community Association and features multiple vendors. The market opens at 10 a.m. and runs till 2 p.m.
WBA Members are asked to raise a minimum of $314.00 towards the cause. Door County Kraut is challenging the public to match the $200 contribution we have committed from sales that day to raise at a minimum $314 and possibly more. Contributions of all sizes are welcome – from spare change on up.
Contributions by check can be made out to the WI Bakers Foundation – Pi’s for Peace, and dropped off at the market or our home location.
