The Board of Directors of the Door County Maritime Museum & Lighthouse Preservation Society, Inc. (DCMM) is pleased to announce the recent election of Alison Walker to the Board. In addition to joining the DCMM Board, Walker has also assumed the responsibilities of Board Treasurer. She will join the Executive and Finance Committees.
Alison Walker is a Vice President and Financial Advisor with Nicolet National Bank, with more than 17 years of wealth management industry experience. She began her career with Associated Bank, then moved to Baylake Bank in 2014. She transitioned to Nicolet National Bank when they acquired Baylake in 2017.
“I am personally impressed with Ms. Walker’s professional career in banking, and her participation on several local non-profit boards is exceptional,” said DCMM Board Chair William Harder. “She will be a remarkable addition to the Board and compliment the direction we’re moving.”
Walker is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Her previous Board of Director positions include: United Way of Door County- six years (two terms as Board President); Financial Information & Service Center of Door County- three years (one year as Treasurer); Door County Humane Society- (four years); and Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club- (six years including leadership roles of Board Secretary, Vice Commodore and 2008 Commodore).
Alison’s current Board of Directors positions include the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts and the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club (Vice Commodore).
