Fish Creek, Wis. (July 19, 2021) – On Saturday, July 24 at 8 p.m., Door County’s own piano man, Eli Mattson, will take the DCA Main Stage.
Singer/songwriter/pianist Eli Mattson catapulted into the national eye when he appeared on America’s Got Talent in 2008, captivating listeners with his passion and poise. Mattson grew up in Duluth, Minnesota; Chicago; and Door County, learning piano at age five and drawing inspiration from Elton John, Billy Joel, and Bruce Hornsby.
Maximum Ink says it’s “hard to find an artist that deserves to be praised for their talent as much as this one.”
More than a decade after he caught the attention of the nation, Mattson’s “smoky, soulful voice and uncanny piano skills” (Green Bay Press-Gazette) are as enthralling as ever.
Eli Mattson’s performance is made possible with support from major sponsors 106.9 The Lodge, Door County Medical Center, and Kocourek Auto; as well as supporting sponsors The Cordon Family Foundation and Peninsula Pulse.
The show begins at 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 24. All tickets are $30. DCA is operating at a socially distanced 25% capacity. Face masks are required, as the auditorium is on Gibraltar Schools’ K-12 school campus.
