Egg Harbor, Wis. (July 29, 2026) – The popular “Buckets Band,” a Door County supergroup, will soon take the stage at Woodwalk Gallery, for more shows than ever before. The band will perform three different programs over ten performances August 4-12 at Woodwalk Gallery in Egg Harbor: “Buckets of Rain” (the songs of Bob Dylan), “Buckets of Prine” (the songs of John Prine), and—a brand-new show—”Buckets of Brandi” (the songs of Brandi Carlile).
The 2026 Buckets season will feature three performances each for Dylan, Prine, and Carlile, including multiple matinees. The band will also present one performance of “Best of Buckets,” featuring selections from all three writers. Memphis multi-instrumentalist Eric Lewis, California-based string player Chris Irwin, local singer/songwriters Katie Dahl and Jeanne Kuhns, and bassist-percussionist Rich Higdon will all return to the Buckets band to perform in these tributes to America’s best songwriters. Mark Edgar Stuart will join the troupe on bass for the first time.
With its pitch-perfect harmonies and high-energy band, “Buckets” has become one of the peninsula’s most popular concert traditions. After performing Dylan’s songs to full houses for fifteen years, the group decided in 2024 to start covering Prine’s songs, given the group’s unanimous enthusiasm for his work. Most of those shows sold out in 2024 and 2025, so this year they decided to add a show of songs by Brandi Carlile, a multi-Grammy-winner whose work is beloved by several in the band.

Buckets of Rain (songs of Bob Dylan) will take place August 4 at 7 p.m., August 7 at 3 p.m., and August 10 at 7 p.m. Buckets of Prine (songs of John Prine) will take place August 5 at 7 p.m., August 9 at 7 p.m., and August 12 at 3 p.m. Buckets of Brandi (songs of Brandi Carlile) will take place August 6 at 7 p.m., August 9 at 3 p.m., and August 11 at 7 p.m. And “Best of Buckets” will take place August 11 at 3 p.m.
Doors open at 5 p.m. for 7 p.m. shows. For 3 p.m. shows, audiences may arrive whenever they wish. Seating for all shows is first-come-first-served, and audiences may bring their own picnic to enjoy under the tent adjacent to the gallery. Woodwalk has a full bar this year for the first time and will be selling cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer, and soft drinks. No carry-in alcohol is permitted on the premises.
