The Door County Wearable Art Show, an art lovers’ local tradition, returns October 5 and 6 to Sister Bay. Shop local and regional designer-made contemporary clothing, accessories and jewelry, and meet the artists in person. This fall’s shows promises to inspire the mind and ignite the senses with vibrant autumn colors, bold graphics and prints, earth inspired textures and exquisite handiwork. Choose from a wide range of styles, sizes and prices for ready to wear, one of a kind pieces, such as hand forged silver, gemstone jewelry, couture jackets, hand-painted bib overalls, colorful cold weather knits, felted hats and plant dyed silks. Admission is free!
Featured Wearable Art Show artists in 2019 are Lana Vosk, Amy Taylor, Peter Ciesla, Joan Kennedy, Dawn Patel, Ann Gainey, Ilze Heider, Steve Mitchell, Lisa Larson and Pat Rued.
The Door County Wearable Art Show takes place on Saturday October 5, 9 am – 5 pm and Sunday October 6, 10 am – 4 pm at the Sister Bay Village Hall (10693 N. Bay Shore Drive) in Waterfront Park.
