Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (February 21, 2023) – The Door County YMCA is excited to announce the successful conclusion of its Heart of the Community Capital Campaign.
The capital campaign, which was re-launched in June of 2021, after being paused due to the pandemic, had a lofty goal of $10.2 million dollars. Thanks to the generosity of donors, supporters, and the community, the campaign was able to meet this goal and will make a lasting impact on the lives of people in the Door County community.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support we have received during this campaign,” said Tonya Felhofer, CEO of the Door County YMCA. “The funds raised will help us continue our work of building a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all, and to make a positive impact on the lives of those in our community.”
The Door County YMCA Board of Directors, Heart of the Community Campaign committee and staff, would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all of the donors, supporters, and volunteers who made this successful campaign possible. The YMCA will continue to be a vital resource for the community and a leader in promoting healthy living and social responsibility.
