Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (March 7, 2024) – The Door County YMCA is thrilled to announce the tremendous success of its YMCA Day of Giving event, held on March 5th, 2024. Through the generous support of the community, the YMCA was able to raise an impressive $30,000 in donations.
The YMCA Day of Giving is an annual event that highlights the spirit of generosity and community support that the YMCA embodies. This year, the Door County YMCA saw an outpouring of support from individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout the community.
The funds raised during the YMCA Day of Giving will directly benefit the programs and services offered by the Door County YMCA. From youth development and healthy living initiatives to programs for seniors and families, the YMCA plays a vital role in enhancing the well-being of individuals and families in Door County.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of our YMCA Day of Giving,” said Tonya Felhofer, CEO of the Door County YMCA. “The overwhelming generosity of our community will enable us to continue providing impactful programs and services that make a difference in the lives of so many.”
