Door-Tran is one of 60 agencies in the state that will receive funding to support transportation services for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Per the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s announcement on December 3, nearly $6.3 million in state and federal funds support services including mobility management, operating assistance and vehicle purchases.
Per Pam Busch, Mobility Manager at Door-Tran, “funding will support local mobility management efforts, volunteer transportation services and half-price travel voucher programs.” Based on the announcement, Door-Tran was awarded up to $49,228 for operating projects and up to $112,393 for capital projects in 2019.
