Texas singer/songwriter Doug Forrest returns home to Wisconsin with a suitcase full of songs to share on July 1 at 7pm at Lost Moth Gallery Concert Series.
A passion for art, music, and theater has taken him on a long and winding creative path as an artist, musician and actor. Forrest says, “Of any of the creative aspects of my life, being a singer/songwriter is the core of my passionand how I most identify myself, to myself.”
In 2017, he starred in the Northern Sky Theater production of Naked Radio at the Door County Auditorium, and currently shows his art at Edgewood Orchard gallery. Doug Forrest released his new cd, “Be Optimistic,” in 2017. His cd is 13 original songs based on slice-o-life scenarios in both WI and TX. His music is described as Singer-Songwriter, Americana, and Alt Country with flavors of Folk and Blues.
He is thrilled to be performing in Door County and anxious to share this intimate night of his songs and story telling at Lost Moth Gallery. Visit his website at: www.dougforreststudio.com.
