“Dad’s Season Tickets is a fabulous show that none other than Northern Sky Theater can do with the same meaning, heart and humor.” – review by Warren Gerds, Critic-at-Large, WFRV-TV
Northern Sky Theater is half way through the run of our most talked about new comedy. Due to the overwhelming popularity of Dad’s Season Tickets (with 14 shows sold out to date), we have added three matinee performances.
The additional performances will be presented at 10am on Fridays, October 11 and 25, and 1pm on Wednesday, October 16.
Door County high school students will be attending the 10am performances, and you are invited to join them by purchasing remaining seats. As an added bonus, each 10am performance will be followed by a short talk back with the author, Matt Zembrowski, and directors.
Northern Sky Theater would like to encourage you to purchase tickets at least three days ahead of your preferred date. Also, they ask ticket holders to arrive at the Gould Theater a minimum of 20 minutes prior to showtime. Actors enter this show in the same doors as patrons, so any latecomers will have to wait to go in until after the first musical number. Find them at 9058 County Road A in Fish Creek.
Unlike Northern Sky’s 90-minute shows during our summer season, “Dad’s Season Tickets” runs approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes, which includes a 15-minute intermission. Water in a covered bottle is the only beverage/food item currently allowed in the theater. The concessions window is open before the show and during intermission for water purchases. There is also two drinking fountains with one being a water bottle filler.
