Easter is wonderful sign of spring! Plans are underway for the annual Jacksonport Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Jacksonport Area Business Association. It will be held on Saturday, March 31 at Lakeside Park in downtown Jacksonport. The event is free and open to the public.
The Easter Egg Hunt will be for children 2-10 years of age. Children will look for and find colored plastic eggs in Lakeside Park. Each child will be allowed to find 3 eggs and can then redeem them at the registration table for various prizes. Parents may walk along and assist younger children with the egg hunt.
Registration will be from 11:00-11:30 with the egg hunt at 11:30 and prize selection immediately following. The Easter Bunny will be on hand to add to the festivities. Lynn Thorp, known for her face painting at Jacksonport festivals, will be on hand to add to the fun. Mark this down on your calendar and plan to attend with your children and grand children.
