The Concerts in the Park and Farmer’s Market events Egg Harbor visitors know and love will join forces to create a vibrant new experience at a new location starting in June 2025.
Egg Harbor, Wis. (May 19, 2025) – The Egg Harbor Business Association (EHBA) is excited to announce a significant enhancement to two of its popular summer events. Its long-running “Concerts in the Park” series and its weekly Farmers’ Market will combine forces this year, creating a vibrant new experience at a new location.
The newly branded event, “Egg Harbor Rhythm & Roots,” will take place on Thursdays at the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center (PAC), bringing together live music and local vendors in one convenient location. The name, which captures the essence of both musical performances and the home-grown produce and handmade gifts always available at the village’s seasonal market, was selected from over 50 community submissions. The winning name comes courtesy of Corinne Meyer from Egg Harbor, WI and is the winner of an Egg Harbor prize pack, featuring gift cards from local businesses.
“We’re thrilled to unveil this new format and event name,” says Alyssa Rasmusson, EHBA’s Marketing Manager. “By combining these two popular events and having them on the same day, it will boost attendance for both while creating a more robust experience for visitors and residents alike—and holding the event at the Peg Egan PAC creates opportunities for ample parking, more accessible restrooms, and an increased number of Farmers’ Market vendors.”
Egg Harbor Rhythm & Roots will begin on Thursday, June 12 and run through Thursday, August 28. The schedule for the weekly events will include the Marketplace from 4:00 to 7:00 pm each Thursday, and the concerts from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. On Thursday, July 10 and Thursday, August 28, the event will relocate to the lawn at the nearby Kress Pavilion due to prior bookings at the Peg Egan PAC.
The EHBA is currently seeking vendors for the Marketplace portion of the event. There is no cost to participate as a vendor in 2025, though attendance at all 12 market dates is strongly encouraged. The association views this inaugural combined season as a foundation for potential expansion in future years. Vendor applications and more information is available on the EHBA website at https://eggharbordoorcounty.org/events/rhythmroots.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for local producers and artisans to showcase their goods to a larger audience,” added Rasmusson. “We’re excited about the potential for this combined event to create new connections between our local craftspeople and farmers, residents, and visitors.”
Rasmusson also wants to be clear that this combined event is not taking the place of the Peg Egan PAC Summer Concert Series, a series that shares its name with the venue and takes place on Sunday evenings during the summer months.
