2026 Fire and Ice Festival

Celebrate the winter season during Sturgeon Bay’s community-wide Fire & Ice Festival, sponsored by Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar, February 13-14. The weekend kicks off Friday, February 13 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm with a magical luminary-lit hike at Crossroads at Big Creek. The fun continues at 7 pm at MUSE Sturgeon Bay with the return of Love on Holiday, a unique event that pairs songwriters with visual art as their creative muse and features a gallery-style show alongside live performances inspired by the artwork. Simultaneously, Cherry Lanes Arcade bar will host live music from 7 pm to 10 pm by Hunter Gather and The Big Empty with special Fire & Ice drinks!

Saturday, stroll around town to witness novice and professional carvers turn blocks of ice into works of art beginning at 9 am! Destination Sturgeon Bay member businesses have sponsored 20 ice blocks this year. Carvers of all ages and skill levels will compete for cash prizes and the People’s Choice Award.

Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar will host a DJ spinning the fun while ice carvers are busy at work from 11 am to 2 pm. Warm up at Bay Shore Outfitters with delicious hot chocolate and chili! Don’t miss the Indoor Winter Market at Third Avenue PlayWorks from 10 am to 2 pm for local finds. Catch live music by Glas Hamr at Kitty O’Reilly’s starting at 6 pm, along with other fun activities! Enjoy free Door County Trolley rides, 10 am to 3 pm, with stops at Bay Shore Outfitters, T. Simon Jewelers, Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar, Third Avenue PlayWorks, and Door County Fire Company. Finish the day in style at the Fire & Ice Gala, featuring live music by STEEM, a soft-rock cover band, plus a delicious dinner and an exciting auction! Destination Sturgeon Bay is partnering with Handbid Online for an online silent auction featuring over 60 amazing, local products from businesses around Door County. The auction opens for bidding on Friday, February 6 at 12 pm and will close on Saturday, February 14 at 10 pm. All are welcome to participate!
