On the occasion of Rachmaninoff’s 150th birthday, we celebrate with his Trio Elegiac, dedicated to his mentor, Tchaikovsky, with the inscription, “In Memory of a Great Artist.” The “Great Artist” is represented on this program by his Second String Quartet.
