Bob Chmel Memorial Concert The Joyous Sounds of Swing

To celebrate Bob Chmel’s life and music, this performance will be a memorial concert. We invite everyone who loved Bob to join us for this special evening. Let the music play on, just as Bob would have wanted.

For four weeks in July and August, the nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians of the Birch Creek Jazz Faculty Orchestra bring their chemistry, charisma and exceptional musicianship to Birch Creek audiences. Jazz I and Jazz II student combos play pre-concert music and student ensembles perform at the start of each concert.
