“Eggs as Art” Presentation at Kress Pavilion
February 17 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

(Egg Harbor, Wisconsin) Egg Harbor Historical Society has announced a new Kress Pavilion program by artist Kathy Beck, the longtime proprietor of Dovetail Gallery in Egg Harbor (currently Cappaert Gallery). The “Eggs as Art” presentation is on February 17 at 2:00pm at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor.
“Eggs as Art” will include a history of decorated eggs from around the world, plus antique eggs, painted, carved, ethnic styles and other techniques, and a few carved egg shells from the presenter’s collection. Kathy will also share her stories about her invaluable wild bird egg collection and a priceless 70-million-year-old dinosaur egg. Historically, eggs have been considered the source of life and a sign of new beginnings, hope and love.
There will be time to view Kathy Beck’s collection before and after the program in the Kress Pavilion Library.
