Gibraltar Historical Association 150th Celebration
July 29 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The Gibraltar Historical Association invites you to join us at Noble Square, located on the corner of Main Street, in Fish Creek, on July 29th for our “150th Celebration”.
The Alexander Noble House, a cornerstone of our community, is officially 150 years old, and it is a milestone worth celebrating. This historic building has witnessed the evolution of our town, and it is only fitting that we honor its rich history with a celebration. Get ready for a afternoon filled with fun and nostalgia!
Throughout the year, we have been celebrating our special year and welcoming visitors since Memorial Day. On Tuesday, the Celebration will move outdoors. Kicking off with a group from Fish Creek Library marching around the entire Square with a box parade, a unique and fun way to include our younger generation. Cherry & Jerry, a Ragtime band coming up from St. Louis, will set the mood for the late 1800s, playing old tunes all afternoon. Bring a lawn chair and find a spot in the vast shade of Noble Square. The tunes will not be all you will enjoy; we also heard a rumor a Noble may arrive to share a bit of histroy. The Cherryland A’s and several from Fish Creek, have promised to come rolling in; it never gets old seeing these well-maintained vehicles from the early 1900s. This event will be enjoyable for all ages.
The festivities will begin at 2:00 and conclude at 5:00. Cake will be available for attendees, and croquet sets will be provided for those interested in participating in the game. A traditional game that was popular during Alexander Noble’s time, and we thought it would be a fun addition to the Celebration.
We are eagerly looking forward to sharing this special day with you at Noble Square. This celebration is not just about the past, but also about the present and the future of our community. So, come and be part of it, and together, let us celebrate 150 years on the corner of Main Street in Little Fish Creek.
