Fish Creek, Wis. (August 4, 2021) – The 2021 Fishstock Concert Series will feature a performance by singer-songwriter John Ford-Coley on Sunday, August 15. Ford-Coley is well-known as half of the Grammy-nominated duo England Dan and John Ford Coley, who had several extremely popular songs, including “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight”, “Love is the Answer,” “Nights Are Forever Without You” and many others. Continuing to perform his platinum and gold record hits for audiences around the world, Ford-Coley is classically trained on piano and an avid guitarist.
The 10-concert Fishstock Series includes a wide range of well-known musicians in the genres of folk, Americans, and alternative music. To attend a Fishstock concert, drive down County Hwy F east of Fish Creek and close to the intersection with Maple Grove Rd. you’ll notice a big white barn on the south side of the highway covered with colorful letters dubbing it “Fishstock.”
To purchase reserved $25 seating online, visit Door County Tickets (https://doorcountytickets.com/events/john-ford-coley-8-15-2021). Fishstock concert tickets can also be purchased at the door for $20 general admission.
The 100-year-old Fishstock concert barn is one of Door County’s most unique performance locations. What began in 1985 as a venture in employee housing evolved into the site of Sunday night folk, Americana and alternative music concerts. There are eight more Sunday evenings of Fishstock’s great music in the Concert Series, through September 5 (Eric Lewis & Friends).
Fishstock seats 150 people in the venue’s hayloft acoustic area for live intermission acts plus another 300 in the ground-level indoor area and an additional 300 in the outside seating area. Both concert ares feature independent state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems, creating a personal and rustic setting for performers and audiences alike. A digital projection system with a 10 ft. screen relays the stage views to the outdoor seating.
