Ephraim, Wis. (July 16, 2024) – In celebration of their 75th Anniversary, the Ephraim Historical Foundation will be hosting a free History Speaks program on Tuesday, July 16 at 6PM at Ephraim Village Hall. The program will focus specifically on the seven-and-a-half decades of milestones and accomplishments of the Ephraim Historical Foundation. The presentation will be led by EHF Director Cody Schreck, and feature a panel of special guests with connection to the organization’s long history including Karen Ekberg, Rob Davis III, and Sally Jacobson. Don’t miss the chance for a guided deep dive into the accomplished history of one of Door County’s premier cultural institutions.
The presentation is part of a series of free History Speaks programs taking place monthly in Ephraim. In June, EHF Curator Jeff O’Keeffe shared the behind the scenes of his archival digitization work at the organization, and how it inspired this year’s feature exhibit at EHF Through Their Lens: Unseen Photographs from the EHF Archives. In August, Ephraim Historical Foundation will host Author and Marquette Assistant Professor Sergio Gonzalez for a program focused on the history of migrant labor in Wisconsin and Door County.
