Door County, Wis. (October 15, 2024) – A free nonprofit training session focused on storytelling and donor stewardship will occur on Tuesday, November 14, 2024, at Birch Creek Music Performance Center and online from 8:00 – 11:30 a.m. The interactive session, Bringing Your Mission to Life & Stewardship of Donors, will be facilitated by Beth Hudak, a nonprofit management professional with nearly two decades of experience.
During the session, attendees will learn how to craft compelling narratives that communicate their organization’s mission and vision, develop strategies for impactful donor engagement, and plan and execute effective fundraising campaigns. The training will also focus on building strong relationships with donors to foster long-term support for an organization’s work.
“Donor engagement is not the primary focus of most charitable organizations; however, it is an essential component of most nonprofit business models. Generous donors help organizations deliver meaningful programming and fulfill their missions,” says Jessica Holland, VP of Philanthropic Services at the Door County Community Foundation. “We are excited to have Beth Hudak share her expertise with our community to help nonprofits further build skills to steward donors and bring their missions to life.”
Hudak is a community-focused leader with a strong background in developing equitable and innovative approaches to drive positive community impact. She serves as the Director of Community Engagement at House of Hope, an organization that provides emergency shelter and housing stability programs to youth and families experiencing homelessness in the greater Green Bay area. With nearly twenty years of experience advocating for youth and women, she was honored with the Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership Award by the Brown County United Way in 2023.
The training session will begin with registration and a light breakfast at 8:00 a.m., followed by the formal training from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A virtual option will also be available for those unable to attend in person.
