Egg Harbor, Wis. (June 18, 2020) – Nature is constantly a source of comfort, wonder and inspiration and once again, Woodwalk is featuring a nature oriented show.
From the Edge of a Field opens Thursday June 25th with a mix of interpretations from John Davenport, Faith Patterson, Barbara Radtke and David Groenjes. The edge of a filed is the perfect spot to see both flora and fauna, things that live in the open or make their home in the treeline. All but Groenjes employ some form of painting from loose and open styles to detailed and precise rendering. Groenjes work comes in the form of reclaimed metals but is no less precise regardless of whether using a spoon or sprocket. One of his larger pieces, a Bald Eagle can be seen flying high this summer at Main Street Market.
The Woodwalk reception are fluid but we ask you have your mask with you as it will likely be needed within the barn as people circulate. Sanitizer is available and distancing will be monitored. Refreshments will be serves outdoors for more comfortable enjoyment.
Stop in Thursday June 25 3-4:30pm for artist demos, which overlaps the start of the reception at 4pm running until 6. Complimentary refreshments and Gaelic harpist Jeff Plockett.
