Fused Glass Show at Plum Bottom Gallery

July 12, 2021 by Laurel Ciohon

Laurel Grey “Rainbow Leaf Strand”

Egg Harbor, Wis. (July 12, 2021) – Plum Bottom Gallery invites you to their fused glass show on Saturday, July 24 at the Plum Bottom Road location. This show will feature Kellie Hanson, Laurel Grey, Rose Kleman, Josephine Geiger, and Paula Garille. These artists create stunning handmade one-of-a-kind pieces that are guaranteed to bring a little extra color to your life. Hanson and Grey will be present from 1–3pm on Saturday, July 24 to speak about their work. Join in-person and online from 10am–5pm to see this spectacular collection.

Laurel Grey, a Door County artist, will have a brand new collection of her popular leaf strands available during this show, as well as her leaf sculptures and wall panels. Grey individually hand-cuts and paints each leaf that is then fired in a kiln to give it a natural shape. Grey also collects stones, fossils, and driftwood from the County, all of which can be found in her stunning pieces.

Kellie Hanson, a talented artist, creates beautiful glass mosaics that can either be hung in a window or on the wall. Like Grey, Hanson hand-cuts all of her glass to make idyllic nature scenes. Hanson’s work ranges in size and color; you are bound to fall in love with a piece (or two!).

Rose Kleman, a Wisconsin-based artist, makes glass frit panels that sparkle in any light. Each panel comes with a custom metal stand or Birch Tree stump stands. Kleman is inspired by the majesty of water and its surrounding magic.

Josephine Geiger makes leaded stained glass and screen-printed panels that feature birch trees in stainless steel stands. Geiger’s work comes in a variety of sizes.

Paula Garille, an east coast based glass artist, makes colorful platters, sculptures, and dishes; you are bound to find a piece that makes you smile in this delightful collection.

Enjoy a day of sparkle and shine with our unique fused glass collection. Join us on Saturday, July 24 from 10am–5pm at the Plum Bottom Road location. See this delightful collection in-person or at PlumBottomGallery.com.
