Egg Harbor, Wis. (May 29, 2024) – Spot opened its doors to their new shop just a few doors down from the original location this past week. Jennie Bexell, owner, renovated what was formerly known as Signature Pieces in Egg Harbor, and is excited to be back in action in this beautiful little town.
“The first time I walked in that location and imagined Spot moving in, I got really fired up and instantly felt at home.” She continues, “I felt like this is where Spot is supposed to be.” “The high ceilings and versatility of the space had me hooked, and 24 hours later I had the feel and look of our new shop all ready in my head.”
Bexell took the winter months to reimagine and renovate the interior and exterior of the building. “I wanted a fresh, clean look to the outside of the building with more visibility from the street and a place you couldn’t resist walking into. A happy place” Bexell said, “but the inside of the building is where all the color comes to life”. Bexell wanted the inside to feel like you were on a vacation in the Mediterranean with soft lines and a mix of a girly, feminine, and even a little moody look. You’ll find hand painted murals on the ceilings, exotic chandeliers, bold arches, unique fixtures like gargoyles, and even an illuminated wave wall in this unique space. It is a space like no other and a must shop ‘Spot’ in Door County!
“I love color and truly believe that you cannot have a bad day if you are surrounded by a fun and lively palette. The same goes for all our clothing and accessories, fun and colorful, with lots of comfort and softness,” Bexell adds.
Spot’s location may have changed, but their customer service and goal to provide something for everyone at an affordable price is still the same.
