Fish Creek, Wis. (October 3, 2022) – The Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5k is back in Peninsula State Park on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
Registration for the race is open now! Fees for the race likened to “running in a cathedral in the woods” are just $65 when you sign up in October, or $35 in the 5k.
Run 13.1 miles on a USATF-certified course through picturesque woods, along the shoreline and atop the bluffs of the Niagara Escarpment in Peninsula State Park. Runners get a great race shirt, free beer at the finish line and the knowledge that they conquered Sven’s Bluff.
The paved, road course includes eight aid stations to help you get to the finish line, and a team of pacers to help you hit your goal time. And to get you to the starting line on time, free shuttles are available from lodging sponsors and two park-and-ride locations.
Race participation is capped at 1,800 runners in the half marathon, and 800 in the Nicolet Bay 5k, so get in early to secure your spot at the lowest price.
