Sister Bay, Wis. (September 2, 2021) – We have an incredible opportunity to save the Little Sister Resort Barn from being torn down and lost forever. This barn is important historically for two reasons – 1. It is a part of Little Sister Resort’s historic 100-year history which is being demolished to building big houses and condos. And 2. This style of barn construction is one of three still standing in the state of Wisconsin.
Saving the Little Sister Barn would also help us in our need for a History Center, something we have been working towards for a few years. We desperately need archival storage space, more museum display space, as well as office space, to continue to save and preserve Sister Bay History.
