The barn has begun it’s moving process, but we still need your help. Our goal is to preserve the Little Sister Barn by moving it to Corner of the Past Museum, where it can be turned into Sister Bay Historical Society’s new History Center.
Our inventory of artifacts has grown far beyond our ability to properly store and protect them. Now that the 100+ year old Little Sister Barn became available, the plan is to move it from its current location to Corner of the Past. Because of the distance, the need to temporarily move utility lines, install a foundation, and other costs, moving the barn has become a very expensive endeavor. Please help us preserve this important part of Sister Bay’s history and create a revitalized structure that can house Sister Bay’s history…for generations to come!
