Door County, Wis. (October 6, 2022) – Architects Virge Temme and Meghan Hawkins, both specialists in sustainable homes and passive house construction, will host an architectural tour of four high-performance homes in Egg Harbor, Baileys Harbor and Sister Bay Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 am to 4 pm.
The homes on display are of diverse design and construction techniques, all aimed at improving energy performance, lowering energy bills, reducing climate impact and creating healthier, quieter and cleaner homes. One-hour tours at each house include lessons on climate-specific design, solar electric, insulation, air- and moisture-sealing, and HVAC strategies.
