Ellison Bay, Wis. (January 19, 2022) — Island Orchard Cider is now open during the winter months! In the 11 years since the Door County Cider House opened its doors, this is the first time the business will be open during Door County’s quietest season.
Island Orchard Cider’s Door County Cider House is now open January – March on Fridays and Saturdays from Noon – 4 PM. Offerings on the Door County Cider House winter menu include glasses of chilled hard cider and Warm Spiced Cider, a specialty recipe developed by the head cider maker featuring cloves and cardamom available only during the fall and winter. Sales of Island Orchard Ciders and Pomme Vinegar bottles are also available. “We hope by being open during the quiet season we can cater more to locals and the ever-growing number of visitors coming to Door County during all seasons,” shared owner Yannique Purman.
