Jeffrey Taylor: A Door County Destination
By Laurel Ciohon
J. Jeffrey Taylor, a jewelry and fine art gallery, has called Door County its home for nearly 30 years. The colorful and sunshine-y shop in downtown Fish Creek welcomed me in for a photo shoot this spring and I was overcome with huge reminder of how much I appreciate beautiful jewelry as I photographed several of their amazing pieces!
So many rings, earrings and necklaces caught my eye, that I lost count of all the pieces I wanted to pick out for others and myself. There is such an extensive range of jewelry designs to compliment any style, any age, and any taste. J. Jeffrey Taylor offers everything from simple sterling silver and 14K gold rings and earrings, to one of a kind jewelry ‘sculptures,’ to stunning diamond and rare gemstone necklaces.
Besides handcrafted jewelry from owner, Jeff, as well as personally selected jewelry designs from other artists, J. Jeffrey Taylor also proudly displays work from many nationally renowned artists in contemporary glasswork, photography, whimsical clocks, wall art, and other mixed media. The gallery artists offer a wide array of mediums in many textures, shapes, forms and colors and offer amazingly creative and unique pieces.
Even if you’re just browsing, J. Jeffrey Taylor will easily lure you to its bright gallery of fabulous art, vibrant colors, and friendly service. Located in the historic Helgesen House at Founders Square in heart of downtown Fish Creek, J. Jeffrey Taylor will be a tourism destination for years to come. Be sure to stop in the next time you’re strolling around Fish Creek’s popular shopping scene.
