Washington Island, Wis. (June 26, 2020) – Jackson Harbor Soup, one of Washington Island’s newest businesses, has had a remarkable run of success in its first few years. Even under the stresses of the current coronavirus crisis, the popular soup and sandwich restaurant has announced a number of expansive changes for the 2020 season.
“There’s no doubt this year will go down in the books as unusual,” Co-owner Art Gibson said recently. “But we still have a few long-planned changes that we’re implementing this year. For one thing, we’ve added a canopy over most of the outdoor deck space, so we’ll have expanded protected seating from the elements while still allowing space for improved social distancing.”
Gibson said the restaurant is also launching an online store with branded Jackson Harbor Soup memorabilia and souvenirs, among other products. The new online store features women’s and men’s sweatshirts, hoodies t-shirts and long-sleeved t-shirts, plus wine glasses, coffee cups, and vacuum-insulated tumblers.
