Jacksonport will once again have it’s Farmer’s Market this year, scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 15. The Market will be held at Lakeside Park every Tuesday morning from 9am–1pm.
The Jacksonport Farmer’s Market began ten years ago in Lakeside Park with twelve local vendors and has had steady growth over the years. It is open to Door County residents and will be held every Tuesday morning through October as weather permits.
The market features over 30 booths with many local produce growers with a wide variety of fresh garden fare each week. Fruits and vegetables vary with the season and there will be more variety available as the weather warms up. The market also features locally made breads, sweet rolls, pies and other tasty desserts, candy and sweet treats to please every shopper. Local honey is also available. Door County craftspeople also show a nice variety of hand crafted gifts, clothing and accessories. You’ll find a great variety of jams, jellies, meat, eggs, honey, cut flowers, hand-made soaps, plants and many interesting gift and items for the home.
Music will be offered on most of the Tuesdays, featuring either Marybeth Mattson, the Birch Creek Jazz Band, Beth Chafey-Hon or Jerry Voelker for all to enjoy once the weather warms up. Come meet your friends and neighbors and enjoy your morning at Lakeside Park at the Jacksonport Farmer’s Market. It’s a great opportunity for you and your family and guests to patronize Jacksonport’s local businesses while you’re right here in our town. We appreciate your support!
The Jacksonport Farmer’s Market is sponsored by the Jacksonport Area Business Association.
