Kids’ Ballet Classes at DCA’s New Cramer Exchange

Fish Creek, Wis. (June 9, 2026) – On Monday, June 22, dance instructor Elena Santiago will offer three different ballet classes for children at Door County Auditorium (DCA)’s new Cramer Exchange, located across the street from DCA.

The three courses offered on June 22 will be

· “Fairy Tale Ballet Adventure” (ages 3-5, 9-10 a.m., $35): Dancers will twirl through an enchanting story as princesses, fairies, and forest friends, exploring basic ballet movements through creative play. This class encourages confidence, coordination, and self-expression in a fun, nurturing environment.

· “Rainbow Ballet” (ages 6-9, 10:15-11:30 a.m., $45): Dancers will explore movement, musicality, and expression using fun props like ribbons and scarves. This class blends foundational ballet technique with imaginative exercises that build coordination, flexibility, and artistry—all in a joyful, high-energy setting.

· “Learn a Lyrical Ballet in a Day” (ages 10 and up, 12:30-2:30 p.m., $50): In this inspiring master class, dancers will learn a full lyrical ballet combination from start to finish. We’ll focus on fluid movement, emotional expression, and storytelling through dance while refining technique and performance quality.

Any experience/skill levels are welcome for all classes.

Dance educator, choreographer, and dancer Elena Santiago grew up in Door County and began classical ballet training at age 13 in Green Bay. Now, she returns to Door County after studying dance at Hunter College, UW – Madison, and The Ailey School. In fun, engaging sessions that encourage confidence, imagination, flexibility, coordination, emotional expression, and storytelling, Santiago will offer two more days of dance classes for kids this summer: modern dance on July 20 and jazz funk on August 17.
