“We’re casual, yet upscale,” explains the Chef’s Hat owner, Todd Bennett. Menu choices offer a unique twist, served up in a classic Door County cottage setting, along with one of the most picturesque Eagle Harbor views in downtown Ephraim.
With distinctly crafted offerings, Bennett creates flavor combos that turn tacos into culinary art, using original sauces and fresh, local ingredients, and dinner choices that boast sophisticated appeal. Having grown up in the Green Bay-De Pere area, Bennett learned the foodie trade early, bringing his experience to Ephraim with a personal promise of “nothing deep fried.”
Once located in one of the last dry villages in Wisconsin, Chef’s Hat now offers beer and wine, which has extended Bennett’s talents to the “cocktail” arena. His experiments using sake as a base has provided patrons with delicious, original refreshments to accompany a fine meal.
