MARITIME MUSEUM / YACHT CLUB OFFER RECIPROCAL MEMBERSHIPS

The Door County Maritime Museum and the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club have partnered up to offer reduced rates to new members with dual memberships in 2017.

Current members of the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club (SBYC) can join the Door County Maritime Museum (DCMM) for a special rate and enjoy all the perks of membership. DCMM’s special rates include an Individual Lifetime Membership (valued at $825) and will be available to SBYC members for $600. The Family Lifetime Membership (valued at $1,100) is available for $875.

DCMM members enjoy unlimited “free” admission to all Door County Maritime Museum locations: Sturgeon Bay, Tugboat John Purves, Gills Rock, Cana Island Lighthouse; discounts on guest passes to share with family and friends; a free subscription to the members-only Mari-Times newsletter; monthly e-newsletters; access to members-only events, previews and discounts for events; advanced ticket purchase for the annual Door County Lighthouse Festival; voting rights at the Annual Meeting; 10% discount at all three museum stores; a free commemorative pin; and free reciprocal with over 75 CAMM museums around the country.

Members of the Door County Maritime Museum have the opportunity to join the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club at a special one-time rate of $200 for the first year in 2017. DCMM members will receive $50 off the annual SBYC dues for each subsequent year. Standard minimum spending is required thereafter. SBYC members enjoy year-round access to SBYC’s clubhouse and amenities, including dining with a spectacular view of the Bay; a popular pub area with a large, classic bar and casual dining; outdoor dining; monthly events, usually featuring live entertainment; reciprocal privileges at golf and yacht clubs around the country; access to Flying Scot fleet and a front row seat for regattas, fishing tourneys, and flotillas around the bay; and preferred access to club facilities for private events and celebrations. A $250 minimum spending and $150 maintenance fee are required.
