Fish Creek, Wis. (August 4, 2023) – Singer-songwriter Matthew Fowler will appear at the Fishstock Concert Series in Fish Creek on Sunday, August 6.
Born and raised in Florida, Fowler fell in love with music at an early age, and by 19, he’d already self-released his debut recording and begun booking his own cross-country tours. Critics were quick to take notice, with American Songwriter praising Fowler’s “earnest streamy song craft” and the Bluegrass Situation proclaiming that his “assured, velvety vocals are rivaled only by the intimacy of his lyrics.” Since then, Fowler has performed with a multitude of other excellent artists. His music quickly caught the ear of proclaimed producer Shane Leonard, who invited Fowler to complete the album “The Grief We Gave Our Mother,” released in 2021 on Signature Sounds Records. As Fishstock Concert Promoter Steve Ellmann recently enthused, “This show will be a favorite!”
All Fishstock shows are on Sunday and begin at 7:00 pm. The box office opens at 6:00 pm and reserved seating tickets are on sale now at doorcountytickets.com.
