Fish Creek, Wis. (August 30, 2024) – On Saturday, September 7, the feel-good rock/soul outfit Michael Franti & Spearhead will return to Door Community Auditorium (DCA) by popular demand. Special guest Bombargo will also perform.
Singer-songwriter and poet Michael Franti has spent decades peeling back the layers of what it means to be human, how to be the best version of ourselves, and how to follow our hearts. People magazine describes his music as “fueled by optimism and positivity.” Fusing themes of love, community, and social consciousness with a distinctive cocktail of R&B, hip-hop, soul, folk, rock, and reggae, Michael Franti & Spearhead are known worldwide for their magnetic charisma, a deep sense of social justice, and high-energy live shows that foster an invigorating sense of community.

Special guest Bombargo is a Canadian-based international touring band that drops a vibrant splash of soul over their distinctive “vintage-pop” sound. You Make the Scene called their performance “a joyous celebration of life and love, leaving the audience buzzing with excitement.”

The show begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 7. Tickets range from $58-88. As of press time, details are unfolding regarding a special yoga experience at 4 p.m. Call DCA for information.
