Celebrate the season with music, community, and the extraordinary artistry of the Griffon String Quartet.
Sister Bay, Wis. (December 1, 2025) – Midsummer’s Music is delighted to present its acclaimed affiliate ensemble, the Griffon String Quartet, in a trio of festive holiday concerts this December. Known for their exceptional artistry and dynamic performances, the Quartet will bring seasonal cheer to audiences in Sturgeon Bay, Green Bay, and Egg Harbor.
Each program features a joyful mix of holiday favorites alongside two masterworks of the string quartet repertoire: Alexander Borodin’s String Quartet No. 2 in D Major and Felix Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No. 4 in E Minor, Op. 44, No. 2. Audiences will also be invited to join the musicians in a lively holiday sing-along, making each performance a warm and memorable community celebration.
