Tuition for the session is $30; scholarships are available.
Returning Write On residents and fiction authors Janice Deal, Sandra Jones, and Katherine Shonk will lead a three-hour in-person workshop that will examine how much you should write about your own life and how much you should bring in from the outside world. Write What You (Don’t) Know will be held at the writing center, 4210 Juddville Road, Fish Creek, on Tuesday, December 5, 1 – 4 pm. Tuition is $60; scholarships are available.
Visiting writer and Write On resident Mary Mullen presents a special edition of the free monthly program, Healing Through Writing. This program is for people with little to no writing experience, as well as those who have an established creative practice and who want to focus on writing as a way to heal. Mullen’s session will begin with a discussion of journaling and a daily writing practice and will end with free writing in response to a prompt. The session is offered free and is open to all.
